Monday

After feeding ducks i ended up going to a restaurant downtown.  lately I have been interested in public washrooms, mostly at restaurants.  They give directly reflect the size of the restaurant.  Each public washroom at an independent restaurant will be completely different.  Public washrooms are not uniform at all.  When going into one you can expect a number of possibilities with everything.  This washroom had doors that swing out and one of those "Xlerator"  hand dryers that blows your skin around and knocks the water off of your hands very fast.  I intended to get more shots of bathrooms for this project but found it difficult to take pictures in public washrooms as I didn't want to be taking pictures in washrooms with people in them.

Public washrooms may pose problems for people; doors that swing in often make it difficult to get into the stall itself.  straddling the actual toilet is sometimes the only option.

Reaching for the toilet paper is also sometimes a problem. sometimes it is so low that you have to reach around yourself at an awkward angle.
